ALBANY, MN.: We've completed our first year, and wow did we learn A LOT. There's no way to train for this type of job. You just need to jump in feet first, give it your all, and hope for the best. That's what we did. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn't.

We managed to overcome mechanical issues and veteran drivers and we still put this truck in the winners circle 10 times. This was so much more than we could have hoped for.

Some of our highlights of the year would be our freestyle win in Mankato, MN for our first NAPA Series event. Other competetors there were the Napa Equalizer, Hot Tamale, Tuff Country Dragon Slayer, and Spiderman. We were, by far, the underdog. But with two awesome saves, and some good air, we were able to take the freestyle win away from the other teams.

Another awesome run was at the State Fair Grounds in St. Paul, MN. This was our first really bad rollover. We had put it on it's lid before this, but it was nothing like this crash. It was the most fun I ever had driving this truck. I set out to put that thing in the ground for my hometown fans, and I did just that. I left nothing but a burning, smoking, smashed up mess out in the middle of the track.

Really, the best part about this experience is all the cool people I've met. The fans have been awesome and have shown a lot of support. I've gotten a lot of emails and photos from you and I really appreciate them. The other teams that I've met have been really cool too. We've made a lot of new friends. Some of them are Joe and Jessica from the Bad Habit Team, Kevin Poore with Project X, Larry and Valarie with Reaper, Dave Harkey and Dan Runte with Bigfoot, Dave Smith with King Krunch and many many more. I look forward to meeting a lot of new people in 2007!

So, what are we doing a year later? I'm still getting settled into our new shop, which I absolutely love. We have a lot of fun here. Stop by if you're in the area :-) We're giving the truck a good once over, from the ground up. We're having a brand new motor built for it right now by Wheelers Engines in Blaine, MN. They are a very reputable engine builder, and have dabbled in Monster Trucks, so we're excited to try them out. We're doing everything we can to prepare for 2007. We have a good 1st quarter schedule going, but we're still filling a few dates. Our two biggest events on the schedule will be our January 20 and Feb 17 events. These are both being held at the H.H.H. Metrodome for Live Nation.

I'd like to thank everybody that has been involved with this. My family has been so supportive and this could not have been done without them. It would have just never happened. My friends have worked long days and late nights to help me get this thing in the trailer and get me down the road to my next race. All of the teams that have helped me out have been really awesome to work with, and hope to run with you again 1st quarter. Most of all, I'd like to thank my brother David for even making this possible. Good or bad, it happened and we're doing it. And lastly, I'd like to thank my kids, Alexis and Alyssa for putting up with me being on the road all the time and my girlfriend Kaila for dealing with all the long nights, long drives, and loooong hours working on the truck.
